Updating Intel NetMerge Call Processing Software to Envox CT Connect

Below is the information you need to update Intel® NetMerge™ Call Processing Software version 6.0 to Envox CT Connect™ 6.1.

Envox CT Connect was previously sold as the Intel NetMerge Call Processing Software. If you were an Intel customer and bought Call Processing Software (CPS) version 6.0, you can contact you local Envox representative for the procedures on how to update CPS to Envox CT Connect 6.1. By updating your software, you gain access to the latest software available, plus the support and expertise of Envox Worldwide.

Which Versions are Supported for the Update?

You can update Intel NetMerge Call Processing Software version 6.0 server systems only.

What about earlier Versions of CT Connect?

Envox Worldwide does not provide support for Intel NetMerge Call Processing Software Versions 4 and 5. Envox CT Connect™ Version 7.0 is the current production version of the software product; we also continue to support Envox CT Connect Version 6.1 w/Service Pack 1. We recommend that you move to the latest version of CT Connect to take full advantage of the increased features/functionality provided by Version 7.0. Contact your Envox representative for details.

Can I Continue to Use Call Processing Software Applications?

Yes, you can continue to use CPS version 6.0 applications with Envox CT Connect 6.1. No new client API software needs to be installed since there are no changes to the procedural API, nor the Java API with this update. You simply update your CPS server.

Do I Need to Exchange the Hardware License Key?

Your existing hardware license key for the Call Processing Software will license the Envox CT Connect software. You do not need a new key; the update software will automatically recognize your key.
